- Description
- The Government hereby submits a Notice of Intent to add a single source modification to a contract that was originally awarded, over a year ago, to IntelliPeak Solutions, Inc. (Cage 6LXM9) as an 8(a) direct action, authorized by the SBA. The intended action will be in the form of a scope expansion modification to Contract W912HQ-19-P-0133. The anticipated award will be for robotic process automation support services provided to the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) Financial Center (UFC). The market research conducted by HECSA personnel indicates that IntelliPeak Solutions, Inc.is the only vendor who offers the specific robotic process automation support services currently in use at UFC. These support services include the UiPath Orchestrator, the UiPath Attended Robot, and the UiPath Studio. Moving forward now by expanding the scope of the Contract is necessary to prevent a stoppage of services that would seriously impede UFCs operation. Utilizing another contractor would greatly increase the overall cost and risk(s) to the project. The needed scope was mistakenly not fully described in the original contract award. The proposed added scope will permit uninterrupted services until a new contract can be negotiated and awarded in 2022. The new contract will have a scope that accurately and completely describes all needed services. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. Again, no source other than IntelliPeak Solutions, Inc. has been identified for this requirement by the Requiring Activity (UFC) at this location. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. This action will be single-sourced IAW FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1) - Soliciting from a single source, for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. Questions or comments to this Notice of Intent should be directed to the Contract Specialist, Giuseppe G. Mirizzi, at Giuseppe.G.Mirizzi@usace.army.mil via email only (no phone calls/voice mail messages regarding questions will be accepted and will not receive a response). Please indicate in the subject of your email: Notice of Intent Question Submission -W912HQ-21-UFC-BOTS.
