Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE - THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS The Arkansas National Guard, intends to negotiate and award a firm-fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 15 USC 657(a), FAR 6.302-5(b)(5) Authorized or required by statute, HUBZONE Sole Source.� The subject requirement will provide dining facility services to the Arkansas National Guard�s Regional Training Institute.The requirement includes full food services for students attending the Regional Training Institute.� This special notice is being provided in response to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.1306(a)(1). No solicitation package will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses received by the response date and time�will be considered by the Government. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items/services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these services/supplies.� The State Licensing Agency has indicated they are not interested in this requirement at this time in accordance with the R-S Act.�
