Description

Joint Webinar, introducing the components: On June 8, 2021 at 1pm Eastern Time, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) will host a joint webinar to provide an introduction and general overall of their respective components and DHS�s Mentor Prot�g� Program.� The goal of this webinar is to introduce the components to any company, large or small, that is unfamiliar with and is interested in learning how to do business with DHS.� The objective of this webinar is to improve industry�s understanding of how to do business with the CBP and USCIS, the resources available to them.� This webinar is an overview and no specific requirements/opportunities will be presented.� The topics covered will include: Introductions of the component small business specialists and industry liaisons/ remarks by the respective HCA; Mission and component breakdowns; Small business topics such as components small business goals and accomplishments; introduce the Acquisition Planning Forecast System (APFS); discuss DHS Category Management and Strategic Source vehicles; and an overview of�DHS�s Mentor Prot�g� Program. No registration is required, but the call in is limited to 400 callers.� To promote maximum participation from companies that aren�t familiar with doing business with DHS, we strongly encourage only one participant per company.
