Amendment 0001 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate Request for Quotes (RFQ) will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA480021Q0021 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses including those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05 and DFARS change notice 5/20/2021. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326299 and the size standard is 500 Employees.�This is a requirement for Fall Protection Air Bag System as indicated below. Fall Protection Air Bag System (The quote shall be effective for 30 days after submission of quote) Please respond to this RFQ by filling out this form and emailing response to: A1C River Samelin at river.samelin.ph@us.af.mil and Marietta Fry at marietta.fry@us.af.mil no later than 12:00PM EST, 04 June 2021, Friday (or sooner if possible) in order to be considered timely. Please carefully review all special notes, instructions, clauses, and provisions contained herein to ensure compliance. Some provisions listed below require offerors to provide information in order for their response to this solicitation to be considered complete. Any quote, modification, revision, or withdrawal of a quote received after the exact time specified above shall be determined as late and will not be considered unless ALL of the following conditions are met: input is received before award is made; the Contracting Officer determines that accepting the late quote would not unduly delay the acquisition; and it was the only quote received. Request a passive fall protection apparatus/system capable of protecting an individual from a fall from the Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor aircraft.� The apparatus/system should afford protection from falls of up to 5-Feet with no injury to the individual either from direct contact to the apparatus/system itself, the ground or any portion of the aircraft, station pylons or items stored on the pylons.� The apparatus/system should encompass the continuous exterior perimeter of the entire aircraft from the engine air inlets without interfering with the operation of main or side weapons bay doors, any of the landing gear doors or flight control surfaces.� The apparatus/system should not afford for any gaps between connection points but should allow for placement of aircraft servicing equipment including but not limited to ladders, stands or munitions loading vehicles.� The apparatus/system should be capable of being moved by a maximum of (2) personnel and durable enough to avoid damage during movement/positioning that would jeopardize the structural/safety integrity of the apparatus/system.� The apparatus/system should be capable of being stored by a maximum of two (2) personnel and transportable to deployed locations via ground or air transport.�� Request long term sustainment of the apparatus/system to include but not limited to operation and maintenance manuals, spare parts, repair kits or other consumable items.� A three year warranty on parts, material and manufacture is also requested.� Testing of proposed apparatus/systems will be conducted at a time to be determined prior to contract award.� The apparatus/system will be evaluated on its ability to meet OSHA and Air Force safety requirements and standards and its ability to be installed, moved, transported, disassembled and stored.� Additionally, the apparatus/system will be evaluated on its functionality and durability.
