- Description
- This is NOT a solicitation or request for quote (RFQ). This is NOT a request for proposal (RFP). This is NOT a job advertisement for hiring employees. The VA is seeking QUALIFIED VENDORS to provide a very brief response to this notice including only just what is asked for in this notice below. This is a sources sought notice to industry and the only information is posted on Contract Opportunities web page at https://SAM.Gov/. Sources sought means seeking qualified vendors. The attachments included on the Contract Opportunities page do not include any additional information. If your company is interested please read this notice entirely and submit the required information, as requested herein. VA is seeking qualified sources ( vendors ) who have interest and capability of providing mobile MRI and mobile PET scans at the Montana VA Health Care System, 3687 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, Montana 59636. The requirement will be for on-site MRI services five days per week on a per service basis. In addition to this, on-site PET scan services are required one day per month, preferably during the second full week of each month. Services MUST occur on site and the VA will manage the patient s primary medical care. A qualified source will be able to readily provide all necessary equipment, personnel including qualified/certified technologists, maintenance, licensing, quality control, teaching, consultations, system specific supplies, modular or portable building/trailer, and supervision. A qualified source means a vendor with credentialled technologists and health technicians. VA does the scheduling of the MRI. VA provides the contrasts. Current Situation: The incumbent contractor is utilizing a modular structure that remained from the previous contractor. The modular structure sits on a VA-owned slab and there is a walkway from the modular structure to the VA main facility to protect patients and staff from the external elements. VA is willing to consider a contractor-owned trailer being situated on site or offering use of existing slab to continue MRI services in similar set up as current service. The incumbent contractor brings in a mobile trailer for PET scans once a month. These services have previously been contracted on 36C25921C0051. Information on this can be found on FPDS.gov or USASpending.gov. There have been changes in the requirement. A qualified source has recent experience (within past 3 years) of performing services of a comparable size, scope and complexity, as well as current and valid registration in System for Award Management (SAM), https://www.sam.gov [continued next page] Qualified and interested vendors must complete the following information and email to VA Contract Specialist Douglas Buffington at Douglas.Buffington@VA.Gov and copy VA Contracting Officer, Monica Gary, at Monica.Gary@VA.Gov.
