Description

This is a Special Notice. The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ALG Defense Inc., 800 E. Walnut St., North Wales, PA 19454, for the acquisition of carbine parts specifically to support the DEA Weapons Maintenance Program. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c) (16) (ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.� The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order.� A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 ""Simplified Acquisition Procedures.""� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 332994.� The business size standard is 1000 employees.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation.� A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.� Closing date for submitting a capability statement is June 11, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time.� All submissions should be submitted electronically to robert.j.radke@usdoj.gov.
