Description
The 165th Airlift Wing, 1401 Robert B Miller DR, Garden City, GA requires the contractor to construct a 40� width x 40� length by 20� tall canopy, (length and width dimensions shown on drawing set), standing metal seam roof system, to include concrete work to place footers and add additional concrete paving to house communication equipment.� Contractor is to use square tube steel trusses, 4/12 pitch standard.� 10� x 10� pressure treated posts will be installed in concrete footing.� 2� x 6� framing for roof and gable tops.� Contractor is to use 26 gauge painted metal and color shall be �Patina Green.�. �Structure shall have 12� overhang at gable ends and 40� wide gable top enclosures.� The concrete shall be 6� fiber mesh pad as dimensions shown on drawings.� Concrete shall have a minimum strength of 3000 psi.� The contractor will complete full installation of concrete and construction.� The structure will be open on all four sides and contractor is to install like/similar construction as shown on the attached drawings/specifications.� Contractor will need to remove existing 12� of topsoil and install soil erosion measures.� Contractor will need to install a 6 MIL vapor barrier to include wire fabric and concrete slab will be 6 inches thick.� Structure and roofing system needs to be built to withstand 115 mph, 3 second wind gusts.� Stamped and signed documents by a P. E. licensed structural engineer are required at the completion of the project to the 165th Civil Engineer Squadron. THERE IS NO SITE VISIT FOR THIS PROJECT.��The contractor will be made aware of other existing base infrastructure (i.e. water mains, sewer mains, electrical, communication, etc.) before work begins.� The contractor will also be required to request a dig permit which will be given by the 165th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES).� This work is to be done prior to starting work.�� The magnitude of this project is between $25,000�and $100,000. Construction/ Contract Completion time is 120 days after the issuance of the notice to proceed.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238190.��The small business size standard is $16.5 million average annual revenue for�the previous three years
