Q&A / AMENDMENT NOTICE� Q&A Version 3�has been posted.� As a result the Date Offers Due is extended until June 22, 2021.��No official amendment will be issued. Submitting a quote by the�newly extended closing date will be acknowledgement of the change. SOLICITATION NOTICE AMENDMENT NOTICE Amendment 0001 to withdraw the small business set-aside and extend the closing date has been posted.� This requirement�is now being solicited on an unrestristed basis. Q&A NOTICE Q&A Version 2 has been posted Q&A NOTICE Q&A Version 1 has been posted. SOLICITATION NOTICE Solicitation and associated attachments have been posted SYNOPSIS Requirement: This project requires the contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, miscellaneous items, freight, and delivery along with all necessary valid licenses and permits to replace the hydraulic elevator, machine room, lights, and associated components.� This includes bringing the elevator into compliance with the required ADA standards. The elevator has 3 stops including the roof.� The parts and equipment must work within the limitations of the building. Location: Redwood Sciences Laboratory, 1700 Bayview Drive, Arcata CA FAR 36.204 Disclosure of Magnitude (base and all options (if any)): (c) between $100,000 and $250,000 Contract Time: It is estimated the project will start in July 2021 and be completed by 31 Oct 2021. Set Asides: This procurement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290. The related small business size standard is $16.5 million. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. Site Visit: An organized site visit is scheduled for 28 Apr 21 at 1000.� Contractors should meet at the building location.� Due to COVID-19, Contractors planning to attend the site visit will need to be able to answer �Yes� to a set of questions to be allowed access to the building. Bonds: A bid guarantee IS required.� In addition, there is a requirement for performance and payment protections after award.� If quote is over $150,000.00 payment protection will be required for 100% of the award price and be submitted within 10 days after contract award. Inquiries: Any prospective quoter desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing soon enough to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before submission of their quotes but not later than 4 business days prior to solicitation due date. Requests for information received after this time may not receive a response. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Notifications: In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), the government is limiting the availability of the solicitation to electronic medium through this posting to beta.SAM.gov. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will be posted on this website. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to continually view this website for any amendments made to this solicitation. Solicitation documents are anticipated to be posted on or about 21 Apr 21. �Award notifications will be made to this notice. Early notification will not be made to any quoter except Awarded Contractor.
