Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to ELEVATED TECHNOLOGIES, INC., 15 IONIA AVENUE SW, SUITE 310., GRAND RAPIDS, MI 49503 for the repair of ten elevator shafts located at the Manhattan Medical Center at 423 E 23rd St, New York, NY 10010 to be completed within 6 months of award. The repairs consist of replacement of hoist ropes, repairs to the hoist motors and controllers on all ten elevator shafts. This sole source award shall be done in accordance with FAR 19.1406 Sole Source Awards to Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Business Concerns, FAR 6.302-5(b)(6) and 15 U.S.C 657f Veterans Benefits Act of 2003. NAICS Code is 238290 (Other Building Equipment Contractors) with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 million. The classification code is Z1DA Maintenance Of Hospitals and Infirmaries. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by Junes 11, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Michael Spivack@va.gov .
