Description

The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground (MICC-YPG), U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order on a sole source basis with LTC Laser Techniques Company, LLC 11431 Willows Road NE Suite 100, Redmond, WA 98052, United States. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a requirement under purchase request 0011613718 to provide calibration service and remote technical support for a quantity of (6) six Laser Bore Mapping Sensors. The calibration will include nondestructive inspection and measurement of interior bore surface radius and diameters measurements on 20-25-30mm medium cannons, 60-81-120mm mortar cannons, and 105-120-155mm artillery cannons. The equipment requires annual calibrations by certified professionals in order to maintain traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This system will support the non-destructive testing (NDT) capability of the Metrology & Simulation Division. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) NAICS Code 541380 � Electrical testing laboratories or services as it relates to this requirement, with the size standard of $15 million. Award for this requirement will be accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 14 June 2021 09:00 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST).
