This requirement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. General Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, has a requirement to provide all labor, tools, material, and equipment necessary to design and replace deteriorated domestic water shutoff valves in the over fifty year old main building (Building 1) in the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville to improve the ability to isolate sections of the existing domestic (potable) system to aid maintenance of the system, enhance water quality, maintenance accessibility, and perform remedial operations. The NCO 8 anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract to provide the design build services to replace flanges valves hospital wide at Malcom Randall VAMC. In accordance with FAR 36.204(f), the magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 24, 2021.
