- Updated to Notice (6/8): It is the government�s intent to release a DRAFT Statement of Objectives (SOO) for industry comment during the last quarter of FY21 or 1st quarter FY22.� Industry will be invited to ask questions about the requirements and offer suggestions for changes, or other considerations, in response to the release.� Additional details may be released at the same time, some for industry comment; specifically the selected contract vehicle, small business participation, and contract-type/CLIN structure if developed and ready for release.� At this time no industry days or other industry interaction is planned, and this decision may be altered based upon the results of the SOO release.� Please continue to monitor the acquisition portals, such as this one, for updates and new information about the TCloud requirement. �� Industry is not requested to provide a response or any information at this time. ************************************************************************************************************************************************** Update to Notice (4/6): Please see the attached .pdf (TCloud Clarifications_Final_20210406.pdf)�for new information�about the TCloud requirement and the government's current ideas about how the procurement will be executed.� The government is not seeking industry input at this time.� Please continue to be patient as we work through our process.� Thank you for your continued interest in TCloud!������ ************************************************************************************************************************************************** Update to Notice (3/25) �- This update is not re-opening the RFI or requesting new/additional information from industry. - Please note that any information regarding this requirement will be posted to the acquisition portals (beta.sam, NASA Sewp, etc.), and interested parties are advised and highly encouraged to actively review the portals routinely for updates.� The POCs for this requirement are as identified�in this notice.�� TCloud is a large, complex requirement.� As such, it is taking the government some time to compile its requirements in an adequate form to communicate them to industry and engage in further exchanges of information.� In addition, at the same time, the government is gathering information to determine whether they have sufficient information to begin making acquisition decisions.� �As the requirements are being fully defined and acquisition approach identified, those details and further instructions or requests for information will be released to industry via the procurement portals.� While there is currently no new information available for TCloud, the government intends to release answers to some of the questions posed in RFI responses in the near future. � Thank you for your continued interested in supporting TCloud! ************************************************************************************************************************************************** Update�to Notice (10/21) Information provided in response to the TCloud RFI is continuing to be reviewed by the government.� At this time there is no update or timeline with respect to the next step the government intends to take for this potential acquisition. Vendors are kindly reminded all information relevant to this potential acquisition will be posted to the acquisition portals and no other information, other than what is posted on the acquisition portals, is currently available. �Reviewing the Treasury RoadMap published in September of 2019, as it relates specifically to the TCloud requirement, will be beneficial to vendors interested in this requirement.��� With this notice, vendors are informed that any subsequent actions taken for this potential acquisition would seek more in-depth responses to questions posed in addition to specific technological solutions and ideas for increasing efficiency in processes through the implementation and adoption of cloud technologies, ease of application of those technologies, and cost savings for those technologies ultimately leading to the identification of cost-effective objective-based solutions. ************************************************************************************************************* Amendment to Original Notice (7/22) This�posting adds a completed Q&A document and adds the below information.� There are no other changes to the originally posted notice�to include the response date:� The purpose of this Request For Information (RFI) is to share information about Treasury�s current IT infrastructure, the factors that are driving it towards the cloud, how it would like to operate, and to identify to industry preliminary notions about what Treasury believes it will need to arrive at the identified end state. � Responses to the RFI are expected to assist Treasury with defining their requirements based upon commercially accepted best practices and solutions available, or will become available in the future, to satisfy Treasury�s needs.�� While industry�s interest in this requirement has been extremely positive, we kindly remind industry that Treasury is still developing its requirements and no decisions have been made on the development or content of a solicitation (if it is decided to move forward with one).� Please be patient as Treasury works through its market research and acquisition planning phases to determine what is in its best interests.� Treasury is extremely motivated to obtain input from industry on the types of solutions available to satisfy the needs communicated in the RFI, in addition to the identification of constraints or inaccurate assumptions, and is eager to learn from the responses submitted.
