- W912QR-Wabash River Dikes This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice to determine the capabilities of small business firms for a small business set-aside. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZone, 8A, Woman- Owned Small Business or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately.� This notice does not constitute a solicitation announcement, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. No solicitation or technical scope of services is available at this time. The Government will use the responses to this SOURCES SOUGHT notice to make acquisition decisions. Small businesses are strongly encouraged to review this SOURCES SOUGHT and submit according to the directions in this notice. Contract duration is estimated to be 540 days, NAICS code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $39.5 million in average annual receipts.� Award of a Single Award Task Order Contract is being considered.� This contract will have a period of performance of one (1) year six (6) months and have a cost estimate range between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. Installation of seven stone river dikes in the Ohio River withing river miles 847.5 to 849.0. Four to be installed on the Illinois bank and three installed on the Kentucky bank.� Installation of stone bank armoring.� Some tree clearing and excavation of the river bottom on the Illinois side will be required.� Tree clearing and All work will be performed from the river. Project will require approximately 125,000 tons of stone. All interested Small Business, certified HUBZone, 8A, Woman- Owned Small Business or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should respond to this SOURCES SOUGHT by email no later than Wednesday�23 June 2021 by 10:00 AM.� The following requests are designed to apprise the US Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, of any prospective small business construction project execution capabilities. �Please provide your response to the following. The submission is limited to 12 total pages of information. Responses should include: 1. Identification and verification of the company's small business status. 2. Contractor's Unique Identifier Number and CAGE Code(s). 3. Documentation from the firm's bonding company showing current single and aggregate performance and payment bond limits. 4. Descriptions of Experience - Interested firms must provide specification sheets for all equipment to determine if the firm can provide the requested equipment. a. Projects similar in scope to this project include: Construction of the river dikes such as the Louisville Wharf Bank Armoring Project and the Olmsted Dikes project. b. Projects similar in size to this project include: River dikes approximately 50,000 � 100,000 tons and/or $10M - $20M c. Based on the information above, for each project submitted, include: 1. Current percentage of construction complete and the date when it was or will be completed. 2. Scope of the project. 3. Size of the project. 4. The portion and percentage of the project that was self-performed.
