Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs needs 5 (Five) of Reichert Tono-pen AVIA. Salient Characteristics for Reichert Tono-pen AVIA Tonopen is used for measuring intraocular pressure. This is a part of the routine eye exam and is used for following glaucoma patients. Salient: hand-held instrument that provides IOP readings that correlate strongly with Goldmann tonometry Sanitized tips for single use No need for daily calibration Elimates operator error and functions in any position (useful in beds or wheelchairs) lightweight, ergonomic design and advanced electronic measurement technology Long life battery pack good for 2500 uses Micro strain gauge technology and 1.0 mm diameter transducer tip Advanced microprocessor technology produces objective IOP measurements that are less influenced by operator bias than Goldmann tonometry.
