Description
The Army Acquisition Center (AAC), on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC), intends to acquire Low Emissivity Tape used on Joint Combat Identification Marking System (JCIMS) devices. �The Low Emissivity Tape provides mid and far wavelength infrared reflective marking for battlefield identification.� When the Low Emissivity Tape is observed with the naked eye, It matches military camouflage colors and when viewed through thermal sensors it provides a cold signal.Low Emissivity Tape may be required in any or all the colors and sizes listed below.� Low Emissivity Tape shall be provided in rolls with pressure sensitive adhesive paper backing. Roll sizes may include: 3.75 inches wide by 150 linear feet � 48 inches wide by 315 linear feet Colors of Low Emissivity Tape may include: 1)� Desert Tan 686, Federal Standard 33446 2)� Green 383 Federal Standard 34094 3)� Brown Federal Standard 30145 �Requirements Description: The government does possess the technical data package (TDP) for the Low Emissivity Tape.� This is a market survey to locate sources of supply and capability of �the Low Emissivity Tape to be delivered will enable the JCIMS system to satisfy the requirement in the Government's specification. No Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Government-Furnished Property (GFP) will be provided to sources to execute the contract. Sources must be able to fulfill orders upon contract award, with production lead time allowed for long lead materials and production ramp-up. Potential sources of the required supplies must also resolve diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages or obsolescence issues. This Market Survey is for information ONLY, and will be used for preliminary planning purposes. NO proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals and NO contract shall be awarded from this survey. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The US Army is conducting this Market Survey to determine potential interest of prospective. The Government does not have detailed technical data. A respondent must be able to prove to the Government how Depot level and field problems can be identified and corrected without the aid of detailed design drawings. �Technical Data Package (TDP) for manufacture and acceptance of this item is not available from the Government. �Interested sources that are capable of furnishing this item must send a response outlining a viable approach and describing their ability of meeting the Government requirements.� Respondents to this notice must provide enough information to demonstrate their capabilities to provide this item.� Responses may provide additional information to support your technical capabilities of manufacturing or supplying the components with similar complexity and functionality of the item specified above.
