Description

Objectives:�Treat with herbicide and kill at least 75% of the Bush Honeysuckle (Lonicera spp.) on 58 acres across 4 discontinuous parcels.� The 4 areas of herbicide application are marked on the attached maps (Attachment 1) by the Natural Resources Branch. Scope: �Contractor shall provide non-personal services of invasive species control for honeysuckle to include cutting and treating stumps with Tordon.� The contractor will not have more than 25% of the surface area occupied by green and actively growing bush honeysuckle plants. Effectiveness is measured 20 days after application. See attached solicitation for full details. A site visit will be held on Tuesday, June 29 2021 at 10AM Central time. Access to Fort Leavenworth is�restricted and requires planning to ensure arrival on time. Contractors need to process through the Visitor Center to�obtain access to the installation.
