Description

Contractor proposal's may be submitted to Contracting Officer and Contracting Specialist identifed in contract information via email. Questions and answers to the solicitation have been answered and attached. The Moose Creek Dam (MCD) Safety Modification project will include the construction of a partial-depth barrier wall through approximately 4.5 miles of the Moose Creek Dam embankment consisting of mixed in place soil-cement-bentonite material. The barrier material will require a minimum 28-day compressive strength of 200 psi and 28-day permeability of 1 x 10-6 cm/sec. Construction of the barrier wall, earthen embankment for the work platform and other miscellaneous aspects of the project will require soil and material testing. This contract is to establish a validated material testing laboratory at the MCD Safety Modification project staging area to support field inspections, perform material sampling and perform testing required to independently monitor the soil-cement-bentonite and soils work for the duration of the project. Revised 11 May 2021 at 1508 to include GFI.
