- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District hereby issues this Invitation for Bids (IFB) NO. W9127N21B0019 for Oregon/Washington Clamshell Maintenance Dredging 2021. This�dredging project includes work at five locations, one in Oregon (Port Orford), and four in Washington (Baker Bay, Lake River, Old Mouth Cowlitz, and Longview) A clamshell dredge is required on this contract. All placement sites are in-water. Approximately 65,000 cubic yards will be dredged as a mandatory line item, with additional 40,000 cubic yards in optional line items depending on project needs and funding availability. This IFB is subject to the availability of funds. The total anticipated cubic yardage per project are below: Port Orford: 15,000 CY (Base) Baker Bay: 50,000 CY (Base) Baker Bay: 10,000 CY (Option) Old Mouth Cowlitz: 2,500 CY (Option) Longview Turning Basin: 1,800 CY (Option) Port of Longview: 8,000 CY (Option) Lake River: 5,000 CY (Option) The environmental in-water work windows are: Port Orford: May 1 through October 31 Baker Bay: August 1 through December 15 Old Mouth Cowlitz: September 1 through December 1 Longview Turning Basin: June 1 through December 15 Port of Longview: October 1 through December 15 Lake River: August 1 through December 15 Water Quality monitoring will be required in accordance with the current water quality certificates. Estimated project depths will be�determined in the IFB, and payment method will be by pre-post survey. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. The small business size standard is $30 million. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This amendment removes�the Incremental Mobilization to Old Mouth Cowlitz. Incremental Mobilization to Longview includes worksite Old Mouth Cowlitz. Please disregard CLIN 0013, it exists due to a�system issue. It is blanked out and will not be reflected in the final award.�
