- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures; and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-02, dated November 22, 2019. Solicitation # 36C26221Q0843 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award. This procurement will be issued as unrestricted. The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality and services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the services that fulfill the required specifications. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide Microphone Sip and Puff Tube (Manufacture Accessibility Services, Inc.) for VA Long Beach Healthcare System: ITEM #ASI50001-S Microphone Sip and Puff Tube/Spring Style Mount (short) Is a gooseneck that attach to the bed and connects to the autonoME so that patients can use their voice or breath to control the autonoME for things like activating the call light and or adjusting their bed. 50 Ea. ITEM SHIPPING Handling and Shipping 1 Ea. Provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial and 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. Furthermore, Provision 52.212-2 is utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) on an Acceptable/Unacceptable evaluation process.
