Description

This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (CC) intends to award a Firm-Fixed price purchase order to Bio-Rad Laboratories, Hercules, CA 94547 on a sole source basis to procure the Bio-Plex� 200 System along with sheath fluids, validation and calibration kits. The required items�will be used for new assay development for lot release assay for all the clinical phase I /II protocols at the Center for Cellular Engineering (CCE) within NIH. �The Bio-Plex� 200 System meets the agency needs and have the ability to measure up to 40 cytokines and growth factors in cell culture supernatant of CAR product, Analyze immune biomarker changes during the course of CAR product manufacturing, and Quantify transfection efficiency of CARs. Bio-Rad Laboratories is the only known vendor that provides this instrument and the compatible assay reagents for this requirement. Any deviation from the protocol must be reported to the FDA for non-compliance. The product list is below: QTY 1 - Item #171000205 - Bio-Plex� 200 System With HTF 100--240 V, multiplex array system (#171-000201) with high-throughput fluidics QTY 1 - Item #171000055 - Sheath Fluid 20 L, 1x fluid in cube container with pour spout, for use with the Bio-Plex� 200 and Bio-Plex 3D system array readers and high-throughput fluidics (HTF) system QTY 1 - Item #171203001 - Bio-Plex� Validation Kit 4.0 Performance testing tool for Bio-Plex 200 system; works with Bio-Plex Manager� 4.0, 4.1.1, 5.0, or 6.0 software and (uses MCV plate IV) QTY 1 - Item #171203060 - Bio-Plex Calibration Kit Performance testing tool for Bio-Plex 200 system, includes Cal1 and Cal2 calibration beads This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source. Interested concerns capable of providing the same products or services as described in this notice may submit a capability statement outlining their capabilities.� No solicitation is available. Information received will be evaluated for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Capability Statements must be received within the time set forth in this synopsis to be considered by the Government.� A determination to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
