Description
The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System Research department has a need for a spectral analyzer system to support current research activities, Brand Name or equal to the Cytek Auroa 5 and components described below. Cytek Aurora 5 or equivalent. System consists of: Cytek Aurora 5 Laser US/V/B/YG/R (64+3 Channel) 5-laser flow cytometer Workstation w/computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse Intel Core i7, 3.6 GHz 64-bit 32 GB RAM 500 GB Hard Drive 530 NVIDIA GeForce Video Card 32-in UHD 4K Monitor Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Additional copy of SpectroFloTM Fluidic reservoirs QC and consumable parts kit 1-year warranty Cytek Auto Micro-Sampling System Salient Characteristics Five lasers: Violet, Blue, Yellow-Green Red, Ultraviolet. 3 scattering channels Up to 40 colors detected 64 fluorescence channels Capable of detecting up to 30 fluorochromes using spectral analysis. 96-well sampling capability Autofluorescence extraction High-sensitivity Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM), 16-channel semiconductor detector Flat top beam profiles Full emission spectra Highly overlapping dyes Multiparametric data 100 mW 405 nm laser SSC detector System must be able to: Detect up to 40 colors including fluorochromes with overlapping emission spectra. Immune cell subsets identified by single cell RNA seq need to be validated by VA researchers for protein expression. System must be able to detect up to 100 rare immune cell subsets The equipment must have high sensitivity, which is optimal to analyze the most challenging cell populations such as cells with high autofluorescence or low levels of expression of biomarkers. The machine must not require changing optical filters for any fluorochromes, and any commercially available fluorochromes must be be excited by the system. Full spectrum unmixing for detection of fluorescent signals. No band pass filters or photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) Cytometer must have flat top laser beam profile with narrow vertical beam height for enhanced capacity to detect rare events and particles smaller than cells Ability to use violet laser line for cell or particle scatter measurements. Operating voltage can be 100 or 240 V No special environmental requirements (air, humidity, and temperature) This is a Sources Sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (large business, small business, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.), relative to NAICS code 334516. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Based on responses to this synopsis, the Government may issue this RFQ as a Brand Name or Equal requirement in accordance with VAAR Clause 852.211-73 on eBuy or Fed Biz Ops. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement and who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller of all the items listed above, may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than 16:00 EST, Friday, June 11, 2021. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Elaine DiBucci at elaine.dibucci@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
