Description

Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract to Quantum Analytics, a small business, 27635 Commerce Oaks Drive, Suite 125, Oak Ridge North, TX 77385. This requirement is for the procurement of Quantum Analytics configured Agilent G7077BA gas chromatograph equipped with a 5977B single quadrupole mass spectrometer detector (GC/MS) and an integrated Frontier Pyrolysis Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer System. The NAICS code is 334516. Frontier Lab provided an authorized letter stating Quantum Analytics is there only authorized Agilent Technologies channel partner distributor for the Frontier pyrolyzers in the United States. Quantum Analytics is the only company trained and authorized to sell and service Frontier products installed on Agilent systems in the United States. The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), only one responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 08:00 a.m. on 15 June 2021, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
