Description

Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Purchase Order to Cycle City LTD. Pursuant to FAR 13.106-(1)(b)(1), the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Cycle City LTD to purchase two (2) 2021 Yamaha FX SVHO Cruisers (or product equivalent). The product provided by Cycle City LTD and benefits to the Agency are described in the following below information. Ability to respond and react is critical to the USSS mission.� Jet skis provide an agile vehicle capability during water-based activities.� This contract will provide two jet skis for personnel transport and emergency response to meet the operational protection requirements while on the island of Oahu, HI.� Market research included search for vendors that sell new jet skis on the island of Oahu, HI.� Only one vendor of new jet skis was found on the island, Cycle City LTD.� Internet pricing of CONUS vendors and manufacturer MSRP listings were compared with Cycle City and the pricing was found to fair and reasonable.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 423910, Sporting and Recreational Goods and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. No known potential alternate sources exist which could satisfy USSS�s requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quote/proposal. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the USSS�s requirement described herein may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill this requirement being requested by 1:00 PM ET Jun 16, 2021. Responses must be submitted in writing to katheryn.dennis@usss.dhs.gov no later than the time and date noted above. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted.
