- Description
- The purpose of this notice is to comply with applicable regulations pertaining to the procurement of open market items encompassed within the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) Logistics Support requirement including the requirements at FAR Part 5, Publicizing Contract Actions. The CLDP Logistics Support requirement is being solicited under the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedules (FSS) pursuant to FAR 8.4.� Only contractors who hold an active FSS contract are eligible to participate in this acquisition.� As a result, the full contents of the solicitation will NOT be posted on beta.SAM and will be available only to active FSS contract holders. Encompassed within the CLDP Logistics Support solicitation are open market items including Simultaneous Interpretation, Translation, International Expert Advisors, and other direct costs related to the conduct of events overseas and outside the continental United States.� These items will be added as open market items to the award resulting from the GSA FSS solicitation in accordance with FAR 8.402(f).� FSS contract holders participating in this acquisition must propose to these requirements as open market items.� The ordering activity contracting officer will determine whether the price proposed for these items is fair and reasonable based on adequate competition and may use other price analysis techniques to determine fairness and reasonability.� These items will also be clearly labeled on the award as items not on the FSS and will conform to the rules for numbering line items at subpart 4.10.� Additionally, all clauses applicable to items not on the FSS will be included in the award. No vendor response or inquiry is requested in response to this notice.� This notice is posted only for purposes of complying with applicable regulations pertaining to the addition of open market items to a FSS award.
