Description

Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13.5. �This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1240BK21Q0113 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). �This is a small business set-aside with an associated NAICS code of 321999. �The small business size standard is 500 employees. �This solicitation is for a firm- fixed price contract. �The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2020-5. �The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition and are incorporated herein by reference: 52.212-1 - Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items; the evaluation criteria stated in paragraph (a) of this provision are as follows: Lowest price technically acceptable being approximately equal. �FAR Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. �FAR Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items applies per the following: �paragraph (a) and the following clauses in paragraph (b) of 52.212-5 apply: �52.219-6, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.223-18; 52.225-1, 52.225-13 and 52.232-33.� �� � �All clauses and provisions referenced in this announcement may be accessed electronically at the following website: �https://www.acquisition.gov/browse/index/far � Line Item Description: ��GAOA� �Supply and Deliver F.O.B. Destination � Slick Creek Trail Bridge This contract consists of the supply of a 35� span pre-fabricated Timber Glulam Beam trail bridge. �Work includes design, fabrication and delivery of the bridge, including (2) x glulam beam superstructure, diaphragms, timber decking, timber railing, timber backwalls and all associated fasteners. Deliver the bridge approx. 40 miles East of Springfield, OR to a large aggregate turnout off Forest Service Road 18 (double-lane, paved road) at Lat 43.976035, � Long -122.557562. Required Delivery Schedule: �All required work shall be completed from date of award to estimated delivery date is: No later than August 30, 2021; however, the contractor shall coordinate the exact delivery date and time with the Contracting Officers Representative.� Packaging and Marking: Commercial: �Package components for bridges separately or in a manner that provides clear differentiation of all components fabricated for each individual bridge. Material shall be packed for shipment in such a manner that will insure acceptance by common carrier and safe delivery at destination. �Containers and closures shall comply with the Interstate Commerce Commission and Regulations, Uniform Freight Classification Rules, or Regulations of other carriers as applicable to the mode of transportation.
