- Solicitation # HHSNIHOPCSBSS-21-010649 Date Posted��� �6-10-2021 Date Closed���� 6-18-2021 This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC),Critical Care Medicine Department (CCMD) intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price Service agreement with Life Technologies. The purpose of this purchase is a service agreement to cover preventative maintenance and repairs on the 3500 Genetic Analyzer instrument.� This instrument is a capillary electrophoresis system that is used primarily for patient testing and secondary for clinical research.� This agreement will ensure the instrument is working properly and limit the down time when it is not. Scope of Work Yearly service agreement with 1 preventive maintenance visit per year. Onsite service response with guaranteed 2-business day priority. Automatically Scheduled Planned Maintenance to include: Spectral Dye Calibration Dyes for calibration Certification documentation Certificate of Calibration Labor & Travel Fees included for repair and planned maintenance. Covered Replacement Parts - All parts are certified and guaranteed to optimize instruments performance and reliability. Immediate telephone response with direct access to senior level service personnel to resolve operational and instrument set-up problems. Computer and Computer Hardware replacement coverage. Life Technologies is the sole manufacture and servicer of this instrument. They do not authorize any other party to perform serve, nor do they license the proprietary software needed to complete the service to any other vendor. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date, June 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm EST specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Priscilla Abalos, Contract Specialist, Priscilla.abalos@nih.gov by the due date and time marked in this notice.
