The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.� The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334418 The envisioned item anticipated to be procured from a contractor as a result of a potential future solicitation is identified below. Method of issue: Total Small Business The NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION requires material and services to support the operation of the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Arch. STATEMENT OF WORK 1.0��������� SCOPE Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) requires material and services to support the operation of the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Arch. The requirement is for an upgrade to the existing lab equipment. The original SOW for purchasing the original base lab equipment is provided as historical info showing what was purchased. The second vendor market research pricing was provided for fair and reasonable data only. 2.0��������� APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS ��������������� N/A 3.0��������� DELIVERABLES ��������������� Tools and Test equipment for NRL Arch. 4.0��������� REQUIREMENTS 4.1��������� The contractor shall provide the tools and data acquisition test equipment required to make measurements utilizing the NRL arch. 4.2��������� The contractor shall provide training to NSWC PHD personnel on the operation of the data acquisition test equipment with the NRL arch.� Training to be conducted at contractor�s facility in Carlsbad, CA. The training will be an overview of operation and capability of the upgraded NRL Arch and associated equipment. 4.3��������� The contractor shall provide design, fabrication, test and validation of an automated antenna positioning system of the NRL arch. The testing and validation of the upgraded equipment will be demonstrated on test material that the vendor has at the facility. 4.4��������� Acceptance of the upgraded NRL Arch will be based on�validating the test results with several baseline test specimens with known results.� The government will provide three (3) baseline specimens (low, mid and high frequency) in order to validate and compare/correlate the data with the established results.� The tolerance must be no more than 1 dB at any given point and a cumulative total of 5 dB across the bandwidth. After test validation and verification (in accordance with the Terms of Acceptance), the Contractor will disassemble/ship the completed upgraded NRL Arch and associated equipment from the Contractor facility to the Passive Countermeasures System (PCMS) lab in Port Hueneme.� When it arrives at the PCMS lab, the contractor will reassemble the upgraded NRL Arch and perform a test and verification that the equipment is still functional as intended. 4.5��������� The contractor shall provide calibration of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) test equipment listed in paragraph 6.0. 4.6��������� The contractor shall provide shipping services of Government Furnished Equipment to and from Port Hueneme, CA and Carlsbad, CA. 5.0��������� PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE ��������������� The period of performance for this effort is 2 months after receipt of order. 6.0��������� GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT NRL Arch Network Analyzer Switch
