- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A sources sought is a market research tool being used to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. The intent of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist by determining if this effort can be successfully competed and/or set-aside for Small Businesses. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325412 � Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing with a corresponding size standard of 1,250 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all large and small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central, JBSA, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to provide molecular analyzers to support various tests to include Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Influenza, and Strep A to support the population of Fort Bliss at three testing locations; WBAMC Main Hospital, Soldier Family Medical Clinic (SFMC) and Mendoza Medical Clinic (SFCC). WBAMC Main Hospital requires (1) one large molecular analyzer capable of supporting 16 patient tests at a given time. The vendor must support the entire testing menu in the SOW on the WBAMC Main analyzer. SFCC and SFMC require a (1) one CLIA waived analyzer for Flu and Strep testing at each site. Contractor will support equipment for maintenance, consumables, validation/verification, and installation/removal at no additional cost to the government. Contractor must support testing menu outlined in Appendix A. All equipment must have an ATO or ATO-C approved through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for WBAMC. The Contractor shall perform to the standards of the Statement of Work (SOW). Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Synopsis, the Government will determine the solicitation strategy.� The Government intends to solicit and award a contract for Molecular Analyzers and Reagents. The NAICS Code is 325412; Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing.� A response to this sources sought synopsis will not be considered an adequate response to any forthcoming solicitation announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time. Regional Health Contracting Office � Central (RHCO-C) is seeking eligible businesses capable of providing Molecular Analyzers and Reagents.� See the draft Statement of Work (SOW) for further information. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: It is requested that interested businesses submit to the Contracting Office�a brief capabilities statement. This documentation shall address, as a minimum, the following: 1) Written narrative of Contractor�s capability to provide Molecular Analyzers and Reagents; 2) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code; 8(a) business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned small business, veteran owned small business, or Service disabled veteran owned small business; and 3)� Point of Contact information to include name, email address, telephone and fax numbers. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITED NO LATER THAN 12:00 PM CENTRAL TIME ON WEDNESDAY, 14 JUNE 2021.� SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 12:00 PM CENTRAL TIME ON TUESDAY, 16 JUNE 2021.� RESPONSES MUST BE SENT ELECTRONICALLY TO cynariah.n.ward.civ@mail.mil and robin.m.castro.civ@mail.mil. The Government WILL NOT provide a debrief on the results of the survey. All information submitted will be held in a confidential manner and will only be used for the purpose intended.
