Sources Sought Announcement for Adazi Encroaching Vegetation Removal, Adazi, Latvia Anticipated Project Title: Adazi Encroaching Vegetation Removal, Adazi, Latvia Agency:� U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Europe District (NAU) NAICS: 561730 � Landscaping Services Place of Performance:� Latvia Project Description: The USACE in Europe has a need to rehabilitate existing training area trails for wheeled vehicles in Adazi, Latvia.� Without regular maintenance, trails can deteriorate and cause erosion and limit access.� In addition, option tasks are included to remove excessive vegetation growth on and around training targets.� Current conditions severely limit use of the target area. If improvements are not done, Training Area (TA) access will continue to decrease until it is no longer useable. Type of Set Aside: This acquisition will be an unrestricted action under full and open competitive conditions open to all eligible firms located in the NATO member nations.� Small and Small Disadvantaged Business requirements are waived for this project due to its location OCONUS which means that this procurement and administration of the ensuing contract will use U.S. procurement laws and regulation, and all eligible firms located in the NATO nations are inviting to take part in this requirement.� Contract Period: The anticipated period of performance is 365 calendar days. Sources Sought: The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of contractors who have the capabilities to complete a project of similar magnitude. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among potential pool of responsible contractors. Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response under this sources sought announcement. Responses: The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not intended to be a Request for Proposal nor Invitation for Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. It is to request statements regarding the company's ability to demonstrate existing-or-developed expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified herein. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the Capabilities Statement. Submission of Capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Corps of Engineers in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Submissions: �Please note it is required that interested contractors be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Please see www.SAM.gov for additional information. Interested firm�s responses to the Sources Sought shall be limited to 5 pages and shall include the following information (Clarifications and or questions shall be submitted in a separate word document and will not count towards the 5 page limitation):� Offeror�s Name, address(es), English speaking point of contact, phone number and e-mail address Offeror�s interest in proposing on the solicitation when it is issued Offeror�s Cage Code and DUNS number Offeror�s capability to perform a contract of this magnitude, complexity, and duration as the prime contractor.� Project examples should be submitted to demonstrate the offeror�s capability including the following information: Title, location, and project description Award and completion dates / contract or subcontract value Type of work for overall project and type of work your firm self-performed and whether work was performed as a prime or subcontractor Experience working in Latvia Offeror�s Joint Venture information or Teaming Arrangements Include Cage Code or System for Award Management (SAM) information/registration, if available Responses Due: All interested contractors should submit responses via e-mail by 1000 HRS Central European Summer Time on 25�June 2018.
