Responses to questions RFQ 36C24221Q0966 Please be more specific concerning the number of months required. Not to exceed 8 months is not a guaranteed number of months. Nor is Estimated Period of Performance: 06/15/2021 02/14/2021. What number of months is this request for? Mods and Extensions can always be executed. Only 8 months are required, period of performance will begin upon award of the contract. Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI come with either 8 channel or 18 channel coils. Your requirements call for 16 channel coils which do not exist for Siemens Espree MRI system. GE MRIs have 16 channel coils. So, do you want 8 channel or 18 channel coils? 18 channels You are requesting applications training up to 40 hours. Could you give us a firm number of applications training as it is rather expensive? 5 days X 8 hours = 40 hours needed There are more than one (1) hard drive that must be removed from the MRI at the end of the services and they have a charge for each hard drive and labor to remove and install. This can become a large expense that must be added to our bid. Please change your solicitation to reflect hard drives. It is hard drives; proposal shall reflect the accurate quantity. As a SDVOSB we do not utilize the OEM (Siemens) to provide maintenance services. We utilize our own personnel and personnel from other providers. All engineers that work on the system will have previous years of experience working on Siemens Espree MRI systems and we can document that experience. Is this acceptable? This is acceptable. Please provide a list of names and their experience/certs from Siemens for the Espree. Acceptable power requirement for the MRI are 480 volts 3 phase not 460 volts as stated. 480 is correct. The Salient Characteristics have conflicts in that both Siemens and GE terms are used: The user should define what they want in a Siemens Espree 1.5T Mobile Siemens Magnetom Espree 1.5T MRI System. Software: HD16.0_1638a >> This is a GE Software Term Windows 7 or later or non-Windows system>> Siemens Espree only uses Windows, GE uses Non-windows operating systems CT L Spine Coil This is a GE only coil The Salient Characteristics are follow:             Mobile Siemens Magnetom Espree 1.5T MRI System.             Must be updated with latest version of software             Windows 7 or later             Lumbar spine coil para 12 c. Portable Handicap excess able Trailer Bathroom / Changing area. This will be a rental for the same period that the hospital will be treating patients approximately 90 days. This will need to include clean outs and restocking of consumables. This could be set up as a once a week requirement. d. Transition Coverage from Bathroom / Changing Trailer to MRI Trailer.Please define the parking area for the Bathroom Trailer, and a sketch of the area, including the path the veterans and staff will use to exit the VA Building, Also include the trailer pad sketch with the location of the 480v Russell Stohl and data /phone connections, on a single drawing or sketch. Attached separately, please find the sketches indicating where the portable MRI is going to go, dimension in orange, building # in red and power/communications in blue. In addition, the changing area included in trailer, handicap accessible bathroom inside facility and additional bathroom/changing trailer not needed.
