- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) � Carlisle Barracks located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to determine the availability of potential vendors for design and delivery of multiple monuments across Carlisle Barracks for which samples will be required. The information gathered will be used to make an informed business decision on how to procure this requirement. The market research will assist in determining availability of firms that are potentially capable of fulfilling this requirement and the possibility of a Small Business set-Aside. PURPOSE: This notice is for planning and informational purposes only and SHALL NOT be considered as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Request for Proposal (RFP). There is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. The Government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this RFI. Your responses to this RFI will be treated as information only. The results of the market research will be used to determine the best overall acquisition strategy. The Government is seeking responses to this RFI from all businesses (Large and Small) interested and capable of providing the requirement described in the attached draft specifications. In response to this RFI, firms are highly encouraged to identify capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The purpose of any agreement (contractual or otherwise) is for design and delivery of multiple monuments across Carlisle Barracks. Place of Performance is the Contractor�s facility. In the best interest of the Government, the requirement will be a local set�-aside for vendors with staffing in the local geographical area. For the purpose of this requirement, the local geographical area is defined as Pennsylvania and its neighboring states. Site Visit: A site visit is scheduled for Friday, 18 June 2021 from 1000 � 1130 a.m.� EST at the following location: MICC � Carlisle Barracks Contracting Office 314 Lovell Ave, Suite 1 Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013 For site visit information, please contact Dahalia Trevenen via telephone at 717 602-1680. Vendors interested in attending the site visit are required to inform the Contract Specialist via email at dahalia.k.trevenen.civ@mail.mil. Vendors interested in attending the site visit are also required to complete and return the attached Carlisle Barracks (CBks) Form 228 � Installation Access Control Application to Lorie Heinlein via email: lorie.m.heinlein.civ@mail.mil or Fax: 717 245-3750 and Dahalia Trevenen: dahalia.k.trevenen.civ@mail.mil no later than Wednesday, 16 June 2021. Please see attached draft specifications for additional information. Information to Provide with your Response: 1.� Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status and the corresponding NAICS code. 2.� Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not.� Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any. 3.� Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination.� 4.� Cost estimate 5.� Recommendations to improve the approach/specifications/draft PWS/PRS to acquiring the identified items/services. 6. GSA vendors, please specify if this work would be performed via a GSA Scheduled Contract and please provide GSA contract number. SUBMISSION REQUIRMENTS: Responses to this announcement must be received no later than the date and time specified in the notice. Respondents are encouraged to review the information requested above carefully and ensure a complete response. The Government will not review general capability statements, please ensure submissions are tailored to this requirement. Questions regarding this RFI announcement shall be submitted NLT 4:00p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Thursday, 24 June 2021. After this deadline, questions regarding this announcement will not be considered.
