Description

This is a Sources Sought notice. This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources to perform a potential contract requirement. Purpose and Objective: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking potential suppliers for a digital image documentation of nucleic acid and protein gel data from a stand-alone instrument with small benchtop footprint. CDC is looking for a quantitative imaging system that provides high image resolution and dynamic range (6.3 megapixels @ 2.4 x 2.4 um pixel size), integrated computer with onboard software and touch-screen display. The system shall support UV-, white- and blue-light illumination, which enables imaging of a range of fluorescent and colorimetric dyes and stains and supports newer proprietary �stain-free� imaging workflows. � Responses: Interested parties believing that they offer for sale items as described above are invited to submit a response to this notice. Descriptions and specifications of the supplies your company offers that meet the Government�s requirements. 4.
