Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The 341st Contracting Squadron (CONS) � Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to MellingMedical, LLC (Melling) to purchase one (1) Oculus Pentacam AXL. Melling is the sole authorized retailer of Oculus products for the federal government. The Oculus Pentacam AXL provides complete anterior and posterior topographies of the cornea and pachemetry without physically touching the eye. The Oculus Pentacam AXL is the only instrument that performs all the measurements needed by 341 MDG. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit specifications, salient features and quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 28 June 2021 by 2:00 PM MDST via email to Ms. Viviana Castillo Ramirez, Contract Specialist, at viviana.castillo_ramirez@us.af.mil.
