Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Textron, Inc., 19401 Chef Menteur Highway, New Orleans, LA 70129 for the procurement of two (2) Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) crafts in support of the SSC Program. LCAC 124 will have a delivery date no later than 27 June 2025, and LCAC 125 will have a delivery date no later than 05 September 2025. �The contract will have options for 30,000 hours of Special Studies, Analyses and Reviews, and Travel and Subsistence. �The contract will include the ability to order Engineering and Industrial Services, Interim Support Services, Software Support Services, and Shipping. �This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. �Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Textron, Inc. directly.� This announcement is published for informational purposes only. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. �This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. �However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
