Description
Sources Sought Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 is seeking sources for the following procurement: Laboratory Testing Services, Esoteric and Specialty Testing; Contractor to provide Reference Laboratory Testing Services to the VA, South Texas Veterans Health Care System, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The reference laboratory shall be licensed, accredited, and inspected by the Laboratory Accreditation Program (LAP) of an accrediting agency [i.e. Commission of Laboratory Accreditation (COLA), College of American Pathologists (CAP)] with deemed status from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), American Associates of Blood Banks (AABB), Joint Commission (JC), Center for Disease Control (CDC), Medicare, Food and Drug Administration(FDA) and/or other state regulatory agencies as mandated by federal and state statutes and VHA Handbook 1106.1. See Attachment 1, Statement of Work, for a description of the performance requirements. NCO-17 is seeking sources from firms that are qualified and capable of providing the services. Firms that are capable of providing these services are encouraged to respond to the sources sought notice by contacting the point of contact by email. See Exhibit A, Test List, for the tests to be performed for the requirement. Capable and interested firms must either complete Exhibit A by indicating (Yes or No) for those tests that will be performed by the vendor (Yes) and for which tests will be subcontracted to another vendor s testing facility (No), or by describing the number or tests, or percentage of tests, in the Exhibit that will be subcontracted and return it with their response. Failure to provide a response with regards to the tests in Exhibit A may determine that the interested firm is not capable of providing the requested services. Interested firms must respond to the POC before the closing date and time of the RFI,�25 June 2021, by 2:00 PM CST, to be considered. Interested firms must identify their company name and are encouraged to provide a capabilities statement (if readily available) with their response. This notice is NOT a formal request for quote or proposals. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The information in this notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. No contract will be awarded from this notice.
