Description
Solicitation No. 1244921R0002 and Attachment Nos. 1 to 3 are being uploaded and posted.� The response date is 4:30 PM EST on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.� Please email your responses to sharon.martin@usda.gov by due date.�� The Daniel Boone National Forest in Kentucky has a�requirement to obtain Vegetation Management Services for projects located within the boundaries of the Daniel Boone National Forest within the Cumberland, London, Redbird and Stearns Ranger Districts.� The project �includes vegetation management, nonnative invasive species control and revegetation practices.� The work includes tasks and subtasks related to vegetation management, herbicide application, seeding, and seed harvest and collection on National Forest land and will be further detailed in the Schedule of Items and Performance Work Statement once the solicitation is issued. �� The solicitation will result in Performance Based, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) on the basis of qualifications/key personnel and experience, past performance, method/technical approach, and price as best meets the needs of the Government. These contracts will have a base period and option years, if exercised.�� There is no guarantee that any options will be exercised by the Government. Individual task orders will be competed among MATOC awardees on a fair-opportunity basis as detailed in the solicitation.� Specific locations, area data (when applicable), and maps will be issued with each task order.� The USDA Forest Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged, service disabled veteran, and woman owned business enterprises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 115310 and the small business size standard is $8 million. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible, qualified small businesses may submit an offer which will be considered by the Forest Service. All Offerors shall be registered at the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award.
