Small Business Set-Aside
SBA Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

Description
The US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), Grand Coulee Power Office (GCPO), Grand Coulee, WA has a total small-business set-aside for the management of noxious weeds and invasive plants. The Bureau of Reclamation manages approximately 6,049 acres of Federal land surrounding Lake Cascade in Valley County. It is anticipated a maximum of 75 acres will be treated per year. Reclamation uses an integrated pest management approach to control noxious weeds and invasive plants, which to date includes chemical and mechanical methods of control on the lands it administers at Lake Cascade. Mapping is an important component of a noxious weed and invasive plant species control program. Mapping indicates the extent and location of an infestation, and when combined with other information about a species including severity and density, constitutes an inventory. The primary purpose is for the Contractor to provide all personnel, equipment (including personal protective equipment), tools, materials, transportation, supervision, and other items and incidental services necessary to satisfactorily identify, map and treat invasive weed species on Reclamation-administered Federal lands surrounding Lake Cascade, in Valley County, Idaho. Detailed specifications for this requirement will be available under solicitation 140R1721Q0031, to be issued on or before June 25, 2020. The Government anticipates awarding a purchase order for a base plus four option years, with an approximate period of performance of 8/1/2021 1/31/2026, depending on actual award date. Pricing shall be provided for base and all option years.
