- SOLICITATION NO. 6913G621Q300050 IS AMENDED TO PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL ATTACHMENT. PLEASE PROVIDE A QUOTATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS RFQ TO THE FOLLOWING CO: KAREN MARINO - EMAIL: karen.marino@dot.gov. The U.S. Department of Transportation, John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (DOT/Volpe Center) Cambridge, MA, intends to issue a solicitation for the repair and maintenance of the trolley track system at the Lowell National Historical Park in Lowell, Massachusetts. � The Lowell National Historical Park�s trolley system has been in operation for more than 36 years. The trolley system is currently in a general state of good repair. However, the trolley system is reaching its end-of-life at which critical component renewals are needed in addition to enhanced preventative maintenance activities. �The Contractor shall provide all services, supervision (planning, coordination and meetings), labor, materials, tools, and equipment (except when specified as Government furnished), permits, testing, reports and specified deliverables as required to provide maintenance and repair of trolley track as specified on the Statement of Work(SOW). The Government intends to award one firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation. �The period of performance will be from June 28, 2021 through November 19, 2021. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 237990; the Small Business size standard is $39.5M. �This solicitation will be competed and is set-aside for small businesses. �The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. �The RFQ will be issued in electronic format only and will be available for download via System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov on or about June 10, 2021.��Any prospective Offeror must register in SAM in order to receive an award from the Government.�Contractors that have an existing account should be able to use their existing logins to search for the solicitation number once it is released.��It is the Offeror�s responsibility to check the internet address provided as necessary for any amendments that may be posted to this solicitation.� ATTENTION: Small and Disadvantaged (SDB), Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).��The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation-related contracts.��The Maximum line of credit is $750,000.��The STLP loan has a variable rate, which is connected to the prime rate.��The current rate may be found on the OSDBU website http://osdbuweb.dot.gov or call 1-(800) 532-1169.
