- Description
- This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, will be used.� A contractor may be eliminated from consideration without further exchanges if pricing proposals are not among those Offerors considered most advantageous to the Government. The El Yunque National Forest, Supervisor�s Office (SO) has a requirement for personnel to provide security, security alarm installation for two doors and after-hours alarm service in accordance with the provisions and specifications contained in this solicitation. The Forest Service will reserve the right to make partial award to multiple vendors, if necessary. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for total small businesses associated with NAICS 561612, size standard $22 M. Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be eight (8) months upon contract award (1 Aug 2021 thru 31 Mar 2022) with option months for up to 4 months in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. This solicitation will result in a�Firm Fixed Price�contract to a single/multiple offerors determined to be responsive and responsible. Offeror(s)�must�be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website: https://www.sam.gov/content/home.�� If at the time of award an Offeror(s) is/are not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the date of posting. It is the Offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The Government intends to select a single/multiple contractor(s), if necessary,�for this acquisition. However, the Government reserves the right not to award a contract at all, depending on the quality of the proposals and prices submitted and the availability of funds. Rejection of Unreasonable Offers: The Government may reject any quote that is evaluated to be unreasonable in terms of program commitments, including contract terms and conditions, or unreasonably high or low in cost when compared to Government estimates, such that the quote is deemed to reflect an inherent lack of competence or failure to comprehend the complexity and risks of the program. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the Offeror to meet all specifications and requirements. When submitting a quote it is very important that all offerors understand it is their responsibility to ensure they meet all requirements of the RFQ, not just those requirements stated in the specification such as terms and conditions, representations and certifications. The quote should not simply rephrase or restate the Government�s requirements, but rather shall provide substantiation as to how the offeror intends to meet the requirements.�Offers will ONLY be accepted via e-mail. All other offers will be rejected.
