Description
The purpose of the is amendment is to clarify questions submitted by interested parties. There were 3 questions in reference to this Contract Opportunities announcement, please see below for both questions and answers: Question 1: We wanted to confirm with you we see no mention in the RLP documents for the following items. Please confirm these are not required. Answer: a. Emergency generator- Yes, we will need an emergency generator. b. Loading Dock- No loading dock, Largest delivery is by Pick-up truck. So we need a entrance for delivery but no dock. c. Ambulance pickup Either we would need a porte-cochere front entrance that the ambulance could pull under while picking up a patient. Or another covered entrance for the ambulance to pull under. Either would be acceptable. d. MRI No MRI just Xray Question 2: We see in the RLP that 1/3 of the parking spaces have to be HC, which is 25 spaces out of 75 total. This is an unusually high amount. I point this out because non-HC visitors and staff may have a difficult time finding one of the 50 non-HC parking spots in the Palestine lot, at the same time that all the 25 HC spots may not be used. Answer: Government requires 10 handicapped spaces. The government requires 3 dedicated parking spaces for government vehicles. Question 3: Bid package will not be received favorably, without an exclusive contract being approved. (Versus multiple non-exclusive to allow the successful bidder to complete the purchase.) Can you provide any insight on this for me, please? Answer: All technically acceptable offers will be evaluated.
