Description

Construction � Coconino NF Heritage Site Access Improvements Description: This work includes preparing the site within the construction limits to construct a walkway and viewing platform at V Bar V following all applicable codes including but not limited to county and government agencies. �The work shall also include preparing the site at Elden Pueblo and construction of a concrete sidewalk. Optional items shall include site preparation, paving and striping of the parking lot at Elden Pueblo. �All work shall be completed in accordance with project specifications and construction drawings. The work includes all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform all the operations for the work specified herein and as stated in the construction drawings. This work shall include all labor, material, and equipment necessary to grade and compact the trail bed as shown on drawings.� The finished surface grades for concrete sidewalk, parking area, trail, and platform shall comply with Forest Service accessibility requirements. Additional improvements shall include but not limited to labor, material, and equipment necessary to complete construction staking (Walkway, Retaining Walls & Stairs), clearing and grubbing, subgrade preparation, riprap, retaining walls construction, drainpipe trenching and installation, rock stairs, relocate sign, steel pipe handrail and posts, split rail fence, seeding and mulching,� relocation of donation tube and building. The site is located on the Red Rock Ranger District within the Coconino National Forests. Basis for Award:� The Government Anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Contract using RFQ Best Value-Tradeoffs:� Award will be made to the offer that meets or exceeds the requirements contained herein, at the price that is most advantageous to the government will be determined to be the best value. Price reasonableness will be determined by using competitive solicitation process.
