- Description
- Synopsis: Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Bliss, TX is issuing a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) Firm Fixed Price construction contract. The Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Engineering Services Division (ESD) has a new requirement to Install Security Lighting for Motor Pool (Building 2674) which currently does not have adequate lighting meeting the conformity standards to the applicable UFCs, Fort Bliss Design Guide, Fort Bliss Energy. This acquisition is 100% set aside for soliciting Women Owned Small Business firms under NAICS 238210 (Size Standard $16.5 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. The contractor shall provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation and bonding necessary to complete this scope of work. Except as provided elsewhere in this contract, all work shall comply with applicable State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. Work is to be performed on Ft. Bliss, Texas Main Post. As of today the Wage Rate Requirement: General Decision Number: TX20210245 05/07/2021; State: Texas; Construction Type: Building; County: El Paso, will govern work under this contract. The bid guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price or $3,000,000 whichever is less. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. An organized site visit will be announced (if requested) at a later date for this procurement. Details of that site visit will be available in the solicitation. The date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 14 July 2021, bid due date will be on or about 16 August 2021 and completing contract performance 120 days after notice to proceed under solicitation number W911SG-21-B-0021. The technical exhibits will be available for inspection without charge thru the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://sam.gov. No paper copies of this solicitation are available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to all documents. Interested parties must be currently registered in SAM�s at https://sam.gov to receive a government contract award; and, shall ensure Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) are current to qualify for contract award.
