Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends solicit on a sole source basis Blackstone-NEY for 33 updated wash and rinse tanks with attached transducers, heaters, generators, and wiring harness for its existing AQ-2-1122 Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems.� The requirement identifies a requirement for 33 replacement tank sets to update all attachments and wiring with 100 percent compatibility with the existing system.� This is not a solicitation for complete Ultrasonic Cleaning System units.� The replacement tanks shall include all heaters, transducers, generators and wiring necessary for installation and operation. The tank shall include both the�wash and rinse tanks fully compatible with the original unit and must be capable of securing to the left/right panels and base of the existing unit.� A Technical Data Package in not available.� The contract for purchase shall be a Firm Fixed Price Contract with Blackstone-NEY, CAGE code 22723, located at 9 N Main St, Jamestown, NY 14702. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� This is not a request for competitive proposals.� However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
