Description
Introduction: � U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Border Patrol & Air Marine Program Management Office (BPAM), Facilities Management and Engineering (FM&E) Directorate, Border Patrol Facilities and Tactical Infrastructure (BPFTI), Program Management Office (PMO) plans, delivers, sustains, and disposes of facilities and infrastructure required for U.S. Border Patrol operational support.� To meet mission traced strategic goals and objectives, the BPFTI PMO partners with the U.S. Border Patrol to translate established mission needs into programs of requirements.� At this time, the USBP�San Diego Sector (SDC) has a requirement for cleaning, pumping and disposal of sludge, mud, and wastewater at seven (7) separate locations within SDC. �Sludge, mud, and wastewater are to be collected at the locations identified the SOW and include fuel islands, garage sumps, mud trenches and car wash oil water separators/ clarifiers. �Additional services may be required within 24-hours� notice in the event of unforeseen weather conditions.� USBP may also include additional sites as operational needs dictate. RFI�Information: This Request for Information (RFI) is released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 � Market Research and is issued solely for information and planning purposes.� It does not constitute a solicitation. �The purpose is to obtain market information on viable sources of service, industry practices, answers to specific questions, and other industry comments or feedback.� This information may then be used by the Government in refining its Acquisition Strategy and Statement of Work. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this RFI. Submissions received by the Government will not be returned to respondents. Submissions to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No evaluation letters or results of the RFI will be issued to respondents. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with submissions to this RFI. Responses from all capable and qualified sources are encouraged. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any subsequent RFQ / RFP, if one is issued.� However, it is the responsibility of respondents to monitor this site for such a release. Instructions to Responders: Interested sources should review Attachment 2 (Statement of Work) and complete and return Attachment 1 (RFI Questionnaire).��Additional relevant documentation and/or information supporting the identified requirement(s) may be included with submissions. Submissions should include sufficient technical data to determine how requirement(s), as specified in Attachment 2 (Statement of Work), can be met.� If submissions include proprietary information, it MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED so the Government may appropriately identify it during review activities. Responses shall be the minimum length necessary to support all requested information.
