- THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) 36C26221Q0786 - IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. THE SUBMISSION OF PRICING, CAPABILITIES FOR PLANNING PURPOSES, AND OTHER MARKET INFORMATION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AND ALLOWED UNDER THIS RFI IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) FAR 15.201(e). DISCLAIMER This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. IAW FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a source sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 334510 (size standard of 750 Employees). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this source sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this source sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide GE Venue Go Ultrasound System for VA San Diego Healthcare System: H8049VG Venue Go Ultrasound System 1 EA H45041DL 3SC-RS Phased Array probe Wideband Phased Array 1 EA H48062AB L4-12t-RS Linear Array Probe 1 EA H40482LJ C1-5-RS Wideband Convex Array Probe (USA POC Only) 1 EA H45051VB USB Barcode Reader Kit 1 EA H8049GC Venue Go Adjustable Cart with power cord 1 EA H45051PA Venue power cord for USA and Canada 1 EA Salient Characteristics GE Venue Go Ultrasound Must have at least 2-hour battery use. Must have Cardiac TEE and ECG Functionality Must have needle-recognition software that clearly shows the structure of the needle with anatomy. Must have software technology which helps with documentation and overview of trauma assessments for use in the Emergency Department. Must have 15-inch Monitor. Must have interchangeability of probes. Must have 3SC-RS phased array probe. Must have L4-12t-RS linear array probe. Must have C1-5-RS Wideband Convex array probe. Must have USB Barcode Reader Kit. Must have capability to display B-mode image as input for diagnosis. Must have capability to display M-mode image as input for diagnosis. Must have capability to display Doppler-mode image as input for diagnosis. Must have capability to display Color Flow-mode image as input for diagnosis. Must be able to display acoustic power indexes as an aid for safe use of ultrasound diagnostic (Ml, TIS, TIB, TIC). Must be flexible in its ability to be used on cart, table or wall. Cart must be adjustable. Must have five year-warranty. Must provide on-site applications training if needed. Must meet regulatory required conformance standards. The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the supplies/services that fulfill the required specifications. If possible, please provide unofficial pricing. Notice: No remanufactures or gray market items/ supplies will not be acceptable. Interested parties of RFI must be an authorized reseller, distributor, or dealer of the O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Verification can be provided by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM. Equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
