Description
ITEM 001: The contractor will supply approximately 2 each loaded barges of B-size stone (or equivalent as approved by the government) to Schooner Bayou Control Structure located at Schooner Bayou, 3.1 miles west of Freshwater Bayou Mile 15.9. Each barge shall contain approximately 1,400 tons of Grade B stone (or equivalent as approved by the government). All delivered barges will start with a 5 day unloading period. All barges will be delivered at a coordinated period with the Government. The corps expects to receive 2 barges at the same time. When unloading is near completion on the barges, the government will coordinate the pickup and return of the barge set.� ITEM 002: This item covers a demurrage 24 hour rental rate for each barge beyond the initial 5 days of barge delivery. This line will be activated only if the government holds any barge for longer than 5 days or 120 hours after its initial delivery. ITEM 003: This item covers the delivery of loaded barges AND the pickup/return of unloaded barges associated with the rock supply to the Schooner Bayou Control Structure located at Schooner Bayou, 3.1 miles west of Freshwater Bayou Mile 15.9. The barge unloading time is expected to take up to 12 total days total starting at the initial delivery time of barges. ITEM 004: The contractor will supply approximately 3 each loaded barges of B-size stone (or equivalent as approved by the government) to Freshwater Bayou Lock located at approximate Freshwater Bayou Channel Mile 1.5. Each barge shall contain approximately 1,400 tons of Grade B stone (or equivalent as approved by the government). All delivered barges will start with a 5 day unloading period. All barges will be delivered at a coordinated period with the Government. The corps expects to receive all 3 barges at the same time.
