Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to BiWater I.8751 Prestige CT, Rancho Cucamonga CA, 91730-5138, Cage Code 1B1W4, for Water� Filters compatible with the current reverse osmosis water filtration system for �MCAS Cherry Point. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), �Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).� This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government�s requirement with commercial items and are received within 6 calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of the Government. � Responses must be received at the Contracting Office, by email, no later than 11:00 AM EDST, 13 June �2021.� POC is Erin Silverthorn (910) 451-2247, erin.silverthorn@usmc.mil.
