Solicitation number: FA8118-21-R-0043. Service/Spare/Repair/OH: Remanufacture. RMC: R1C. Item: E-3 Electro-mechanical Actuator. NSN: 1680-01-022-0732RK. P/N: R1604M8. Description:� The actuator provides power in the form of rotary motion to the horizontal stabilizer trim actuator.� Remanufacture: 5 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract will be solicited. IPE May be required Over and Above: To Be Negotiated (as needed). Data: Not Separately Priced Application: E-3. Destination: TBD. Delivery: 2 EA per Month Beginning 30 days After Receipt of Order or Reparables, Whichever is Later. Five year IDIQ contract. Qualification Requirements DO apply. Initial Production Evaluation (IPE) may be required. This will be a small business set aside. Export Control: Not Applicable. UID Note to Contractor: If unit price exceeds $5,000, then UID requirements will apply. Applicable Tech Orders: The Government does possess a T.O. of remanufacture procedures for this item. Written procedures will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
