Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Grand Mesa Uncompahgre Gunnison National Forest is in need of 3 to 5 Horses or Mules delivered to�Gunnison Ranger District; 216 N. Colorado St., Gunnison, CO 81230.�� Stock should be�Gelding. (Preferred), Weigh�1000-1200 lbs, be 4-7 years old,�14.3 - 15.3 hands tall, have good hooves, good mouth, good sight, and good hearing.�Horse must be sound without Faulty conformation, scars from old wounds, straight shoulders, crooked legs, weak back, or drooping croup. Horse/Mule must be�Gentle and easy to catch. Halters and leads well. Does not bite, kick, or pull back. Stands quietly when tied.�Broke to ride for people with a variety of skill levels. Has good stopping and reining ability. Will load into trailer with ease and not fight the trailer when traveling.��Easily shod, with no hoof deformity.
