THIS SPECIAL NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. This notice is for informational purposes only. This Sources Sought Notice 36C24421Q0820; is neither a solicitation nor a promise of future work. Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, 1111 East End Boulevard Wilkes-Barre PA 18711, has a potential requirement for a floor scrubber. SDVOSB, and/or VOSB, Small Business manufactures and authorized distributors are encouraged to submit your company s information and capability statement in response to this Sources Sought Notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 4, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4), is seeking information and potential qualified sources capable of meeting the Statement of Work (SOW) for a Brand Name, Floor Scrubber for the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center (VAMC). The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of interested parties to demonstrate to the government that they are capable of providing the equipment or supply that fulfills the required minimum specifications mentioned above. Responses to this Sources Sought should include company name, address, point of contact, phone number, point of contact e-mail, DUNS Number, Cage Code, size of business pursuant to North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) 333318  Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, (size standard of 1000 employees). Respondents shall also answer the following questions: Size status and representations of your business, such as but not limited to: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). Is your company considered small under the NAICS code identified under this Source Sought? Is your company the manufacturer, distributor, or equivalent source for the type of items required with the characteristics referenced above? If your company is a small business and an authorized distributor/reseller for the types of items required with the characteristics referenced above, do you alter; assemble; or modify; the items requested in any way? If your company alters the items, state how and what is altered; assembled; and/or modified? Does your company have an FSS contract with GSA or the VA NAC or a GWAC contract holder with any other federal agency? If so, please provide the contract number. If your company holds a FSS GSA/VA NAC contract other federal GWAC contract holder, are the items you are providing information on available on your schedule/contract? General pricing of your products is encouraged. Pricing will be used for the purpose of market research only. It will not be used to evaluate for any type of award. Statement of Work (SOW) Floor Scrubbers Background: The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, Environmental Management Services has determined the need to purchase two (2) mid-sized Orbital Scrubber w/ auto down pressure ECH20. Scope of Service: The offeror shall provide two (2) Floor Scrubbers as designated in paragraph D below. This is a name brand requirement based on the configuration listed below. Objectives: Procure two (2) Floor Scrubbers with Floor Scrubbers must be name brand and required to have salient characteristics. Requirements: Floor Scrubbers shall be configured, as noted below, with an exact match or similar configuration to the description listed below. Contractors must supply pamphlets. Government Furnished Property: None Property provided by Contractor: None Security Requirements: None General Responsibilities: Timely and safe delivery of the proposed equipment Qualifications: No contractor qualifications needed 52.232-18 Availability of funds. Funds are not applicable at this time because this is a RFI. The Government s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. This is not a request for quote or proposals. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential Small Businesses especially any SDVOSBs capable of providing the brand name equipment. Information provided by potential sources will be utilized by the Government to determine market availability and procurement strategy. An award of a contract will not result from this Sources Sought Notice. Vendors who can meet the requirements listed above should provide the following information: Business Name Business Address Business Point of Contact, including phone number and email address Business size Business Socioeconomic Status Federal Supply Scheduling (FSS) number, if the items required by the Government are available for purchase on an FSS contract. Any other pertinent capability information that relates to the above stated requirement.
